Membership at City of Sheffield allows you use the club's boats, oars and facilities unless stated below.
A valid, paid-up membership is required to race for City of Sheffield Rowing Club along with a valid British Rowing Membership (see additional guidance here: Join British Rowing).
2025 Membership Fees
Annual Membership Fees can be paid in full or via monthly instalments. Discounted rates are available the event of financial hardship. These are considered on a case by case basis by the Committee. Please don't hesitate to contact committee@sheffieldrowing.co.uk if you think you might need help.
For people who have reached the age of 18 on 1st April of the current year
Available to members who are single parents, or can provide documentary evidence of being in full-time education, or whose permanent address is greater than 50 miles from the club
For people who are under the age of 18 on the 1st April of the current year
Coxswain membership entitles a member to cox but not row. They may use the club facilities and join in any land training sessions or activities.
Associate members are non-rowing club members. They may use the club facilities and join in any land training sessions or activities.
Offered to members who can provide documentary evidence of being in full-time education. Covers Summer, Winter and Easter holidays.

Discounted rates are available to families as below:
1st Adult (Annual Full): £288
2nd Adult / Single Parent: £144
1st Child: £144
2nd Child: £65
3rd / Subsequent Child: FREE
Offered to students of either Sheffield University Rowing club and entitles a member to row and race with CSRC over the summer holidays. The member must be a registered rower at a Sheffield University club during the previous academic year to eligible.
